website

This website is powered by Ghost - free, open-source, and highly customizable. That’s exactly why we decided to give it a try. Our design is based on journal.ghost, but we’ve adapted and developed it to fit our own style. We don’t use any external sources. All fonts, libraries, scripts, and other assets are hosted locally.

Most importantly:
We don’t track you.
No cookies. No fingerprinting. No ads. Ever.

social

ghost.org promotes features designed to help creators grow their audience into a business, using tools like  Stripe for payments and Mailgun for bulk newsletters. These integrations make it easy to set up professional newsletters and subscription-based content to earn recurring revenue.

We don’t use any of these features.
Why? Because enabling them would require trusting third parties with visitor data and that's not a compromise we're willing to make.

Instead, we run our own Matrix Synapse server to publish micro-news. Matrix is decentralized, open-source, and end-to-end encrypted. We keep no logs, and we collect no user data. If you want to message us securely, get a Matrix Client and reach out. You can also follow us on Mastodon. We host and maintain our own instance.

code

All scripts and code available for download on this website are free, transparent, accessible, extensible, tested, and reversible. You can view everything publicly on Codeberg, our primary repository. We also maintain a Github Mirror for accessibility.
